Kristian Jackman replied: "hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few. but anyway you can always try and get real results. year ago I suffered from hair loss and since hair loss is hereditary my dad suffered from it too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss. the things that really worked for me was: 1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp; 2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation; 3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage; 4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three); 5) also you should use some herbal treatment.in that case Provillus is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important! It worked and still works for me! I do not know if any pharmacies carry Provillus but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here good luck! not only my and my wife`s own personal experience"

Daid J replied: "The best way to look after your hair and keep it is by eating properly. Eating a good diet with plenty of vitamins and proteins will help keep your hair healthy. taking natural hair supplements will help you as well. these ensure you get all the vitamins and protein you need for your hair. Use a good shampoo that does not lather a lot and does not hurt your eyes. Anything like this indicates the shampoo has too many chermicals in it."

Whats a natural cure for hair loss/thinning? when I say cure, I mean stopping the thinning and hair loss, and reversing it, so that I can grow a full head of hair.

neutronsolstices replied: "any Anti-Estrogenic like saw palmetto baldness is cause by extra testosterone turning into DHT this can be stopped or slowed with saw palmetto and it will have a healthy impact on your prostate also"

green chik replied: "People are going to take advantage of you and your question here. Nothing cures hairloss and makes you grow a head of hair. Sometimes deficiencies or hormone issues can cause this and be corrected, but outside of that, nothing cures modern, normal hairloss. What you may be able to do is slow down the loss or boost your body's resistance to hair loss. Take this list of supplements to your local health food store (don't buy stuff off the internet, which has probably been stored in someone's old trailer in 110 degree weather before its shipped), and just try one at a time at the recommended doses on the label for 3-6 months each and continue with the ones that seem to be helping: MSM 1000mg shen-min BioSil (don't take this if you have thin blood or are on blood thinners) biotin 500mg Nothing slows down the aging process (which starts with hairloss for some, including my gorgeous husband who was 19 when it started) like antioxidants, and fresh, healthy food and exercise. Take care of your self, smile often, be great. :)"

Minerva replied: "This is caused by too much bad testosterone (DHT) in the scalp. Oatgrass is a great remedy for this. There is a product called "Quantum Greens Mix Powder" that has it in it. Take at least a tablespoon a day for a while. Also, in Chinese medicine hair loss has to do with kidney and adrenals. Try some cordyceps or even better the "Ginseng Nano Plex" made by the same company as the greens mix. It's one of the best kidney boosters I've ever found and really increases energy."

Julia P replied: "Thinning hair is very common. More than 60 million Americans suffer from this condition. Although most common among men, hair loss in women is also widely known. Statistics show, more than half of men over the age of 50 suffer from hair loss or baldness. Though the percentage of baldness in women is far smaller, the emotional effects it brings are great. Marry replied: "Vitamins and minerals are not only important to our body system. It is also important for the satisfactory growth of the hair. 1. Vitamin C with bioflavonoids. A daily dose of one to two grams together with other supplements is enough to keep you strong and healthy. This could lead to hair regrowth as well. 2. Vitamin B-complex. The required daily allowance for this vitamin is 50 mg. This vitamin consists of all major Vitamin B components such as folate, biotin, and inositol."

beautychris1980 replied: "Hi you can use the right combination of vitamins(Vitamins B, E, A, and C), minerals (copper, iron, zinc, iodine, silica) and herb extracts, new growth can be stimulated, helping you return to a full head of healthy hair. The herbal treatments have also become a part of natural treatment. There are many herbs which can be very helpful but for that you also need to know the right use of these herbs. The other reason why people choose natural products over chemical is safety."

Jany replied: "Hi, depending on your type of hair loss, treatments are available. If a medicine is causing your hair loss, your doctor may be able to prescribe a different medicine. Recognizing and treating an infection may help stop the hair loss. Correcting a hormone imbalance may prevent further hair loss. Today have many ways to deal with. You can go the source link below. What is the best natural cure for dandruff and hair loss? No time to visit a barber or saloon n sit there for hours. Give home remedies....

anonymous replied: "Read this: Plagued by dandruff? Cheesed off by those dry white flakes that just keep dropping off your head providing you with your own mini snowfall in the midst of a sultry Indian summer? You are not alone. In fact, research suggests that more people have dandruff than those who do not.? Here?s what you can do to keep dandruff at bay so that you too can dare to wear black without having to furtively dust your shoulders every now and then. First, let us find out what causes this condition: ? Causes There are many theories regarding the cause of dandruff.? Dead skin One theory suggests that dandruff is a natural process, and is caused by the flaking of the scalp. Just as the body sheds dead skin, so does the scalp. When this skin is shed at an excessive rate, it leads to dandruff.? Oily skin It is a widely held belief that dandruff is caused by a dry scalp. However, this is not always the case, and dandruff is just as often caused by an oily scalp. The excessive oil forms a layer on the scalp, which dries, thickens and flakes off in the form of dandruff.? Perspiration If you exercise regularly, you perspire more, which could also lead to dandruff, especially if you do not shampoo as often as you should.? Fungus Certain forms of dandruff are also believed to be caused by a fungus on the scalp. It is believed that this fungus cannot be removed completely. Thus, dandruff too cannot be completely eradicated, only controlled.? Other factors include: Cold weather Use of hair sprays and gels Certain conditioners Improper shampoo rinsing Infrequent hair washes Diet Stress? Hormones? Don?t ignore the dandruff, because ignoring it only leads to more build-up. This causes itchiness, which leads to you scratching your hair. Vigorous scratching can cause wounds to the scalp, leaving them vulnerable to infection.? ? Treatment If you have mild dandruff, you could try increasing the frequency of your hair washes. The rule of thumb is the more frequently you shampoo, the less dandruff you will have. If necessary, shampoo daily with a mild shampoo, to keep dandruff in check.? If your hair is dry but your scalp is oily, you may be hesitant to shampoo more often. Try this: wet your entire hair, but apply shampoo essentially to your scalp. Let the shampoo lightly run over your entire hair when you are rinsing it off your scalp, giving your locks a gentle wash.? If mild shampoos don?t work, and if your dandruff is severe, use a medicated anti-dandruff shampoo which contains selenium sulfide to wash your hair. Use it sparingly, as anti-dandruff shampoos tend to be strong. After applying it, leave it on for at least five minutes before washing it off, to give the formula time to work.? After applying shampoo, massage your scalp lightly with your fingertips to loosen the scales.? The shampoo could be used on its own, or mixed with your regular shampoo. You could also alternate an anti-dandruff shampoo with your regular shampoo. Once the dandruff has gone, switch to your regular shampoo.? ? Help from your kitchen shelf White vinegar is an excellent remedy for dandruff. Mix one cup of white vinegar with one cup of water, and pour this over your scalp after your hair wash, as a final rinse.? ? FALLING HAIR - by Meenal Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are: Tension Too much work Illness Poor diet Over-exposure to the sun Perming Amateur bleaching Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP. Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth. A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must. Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday. Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull. Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down! ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc. A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness. VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil. COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper. Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall: Apply almond oil on scalp and massage. Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month ¡V if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair. Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair. Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing. Quick Hair Care Conditioner Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable. Honey Conditioner Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour. Alcohol Conditioner Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth. Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours."

dance with me replied: "i have had this problem for a long time. i have a skin condition that causes dry patches of skin. i don't know how to spell it though. to fix the problem, stay away from long or medium length hair, gel products, cheap shampoo. start off with a shorter hair style, then find a wax based hair product (be careful how much you use), and from that point buy a nicer shampoo than you already buy. make sure to get all the shampoo and conditioner out. if you miss any it can flake a bit and look like dandruff."

Yuki-kun^o^ replied: "Have you heard of Head And Shoulders? It's very effective!"

marie a replied: "wash your hair with shampoo daily to prevent the spread of bacteria. One of the effective solutions for dealing with dandruff is to use the commercially prepared medicated shampoos meant for removing the dandruff. They are very effective in disinfecting the scalp. But if you suffer from dry scalp, daily shampooing can cause eczema. Shampooing once in 3 days is the best solution."

Does anyone know a natural cure or medicine for falling hair due to scalp burns from a hair treatment? Well, I got my hair straightened and I think my scalp didn’t like the treatment at all so after the treatment, I got some burns on my scalp and A LOT of my hair fell off. I’m not bald or anything but some parts of my scalp don’t really have much hair anymore. And my scalp has some bumps on it too—maybe because of the slight burns I got from the hair treatment. So if you guys know a natural cure or medicine or ointment or something for scalp burns and falling hair please do help me. And is it okay for me to take a bath everyday or it might lead to more hair loss? I’m still quite young so about how long will it take for my hair to grow back again? I do need your help and Prayers please…. If there is a doctor or anyone else out there who is reading my message pls help! Thank you God bless and Merry Christmas!

jugglin' replied: "My advice would be to see a dermatologist. They may give you something that may take a few weeks before showing results, so until then, see a good hair salon for advice on hair styles. Also, try some hats(you'll find a large variety at this time of year). Hope this helps."

need help! replied: "what exactly did you have done? a relaxer? if you could specify that would be great."

msijg replied: "You need to see a dermatologist, be prepared he or she may suggest that you cut all of your hair off and start new depending upon the extent of the damage to your scalp. As far as vitamins go biotin seems to do a lot for hair and nail growth but ask the dr as it may intefere with whatever they prescribe. Massage your scalp-grab one of those little ones from bed bath and beyond or linens and things. do this evey night before you go to sleep if your dr says its ok. no more chemical treatments for a year would be my guess. i get a perm but i dont blow dry or curl my hair which makes my hair stronger. heatless is the way to go but i hear ceramic tools are good and safe but i say heat free whenever possible is the kindest to your hair. once your dr gives you the ok to resume n ormal hair products visit the longhaircareforum.com for tips on products to grow hair longer and make it healthier. these are tips form real people who have long hair. many of them have hair logs and you can watch their hair grow over weeks, months and years. God Bless!"

rn replied: "it happened to me once also when I bleached my hair. As a result, I lost a lot of hair too. I think the best thing to do is to go see a dermatologist because they would probably have to see your scalp and maybe prescribe some vitamins for hair growth and some kind of cream for the scalp. I hope that helps..."

craina c replied: "go to your local health food store (or online) there are several you could use. check out the homeopathic areas."

Lucy A. replied: "Go see a dermatologist ASAP. Good luck and God bless ^j^ ^j^ ^j^"
